I'm leaving for Santo Domingo tomorrow, and I'll be back next Sunday.

I'm staying in my grandparents' apartment, and I'll have internet access. I won't be on much, though. There's too much in this world I haven't seen yet. I visit the DR every year but now that I'm older my eyes are open to all the beauty around me.

I'm bringing my camera so I'll come back with many photos (dirty streets and sunlit beaches and beautiful faces).

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and I wish you a happy New Year! The future holds wonderful things for us all.

Last night my house was movement and aroma and wine and laughter. Roast pig on our countertop, sweet cake on the table.
And now it's Christmas day, grey skies and wet grass and moist air and stillness. No snow here in Florida, no sunshine.
I love this day.

Lately, I feel like my work has been slightly uninspired, repetitive, and forced. So I did a little gallery clean up, and got rid of the pieces that I wasn't too fond of.

My goal from now on is to submit only my best to deviantART. I have a page for all of my photos, though! So if you want to keep track of everything I snap... [link] c:

My four most recent photos [Take me home, My Papa's Car, They're hiding, Till There's Nothing Left] were experimental, and I love them all. Some people have told me they're very reminiscent of =Pretty-As-A-Picture's series "after dark", but it is pure coincidence. I'm sorry if I offended anyone.

Anyway.
I'm going to start doing conceptual pieces again, and more self portraits. Cause you know you love my face. :d
I have a photoshoot with the beautiful Maesy this Wednesday, so expect to see those photos up soon.
